A TRIBUTE TO THE ARTS GUILD
What a delightful breath of fresh air blew through the Church Hall last week, as Whitkirk Arts Guild presented
its pantomime “Humpty Dumpty”.
This was family entertainment at it’s best! Just honest to goodness clean fun, with the players enjoying it
as much as the audience. There were some really excellent professional performers, but it would be unfair to
single out individuals for special praise. All did well and like any well drilled team, worked for each other.
Mary and I had not been too well and felt reluctant to turn out on a Tuesday evening. But we’re glad we went
and enjoyed a thoroughly relaxed and pleasant evening.
To all those who did not go to see “Humpty Dumpty”, you missed a treat
