Dick Whittington

Dick Whittington Poster

We have added pictures taken during the dress rehearsal of our last show, Dick Whittington. The pantomime was enjoyed by everyone, every night the audiences boo-ed and cheered, laughed at the jokes and joined in with the audience participation song, the sound crew mentioned they should have been issued with ear defenders on the Saturday night as the audience was so loud!

This pantomime was written by Alan Jackson of Bramley Parish Theatre Players. Alan and some of his cast came to see our pantomime on the first night of our pantomime. Alan sent us the following message.

Some of the members from Bramley Parish Theatre Players came to your performance of "Dick Whittington".

We have been to your productions in other years and would just like to say that this production is one of your best!
Fantastic enthusiasm from all the cast from the principals to all members of the chorus. Production was outstanding and the choreograpy was very good too. The comedy was slick and kept up a good pace all the way through and singing was some of the best amature singing i have heard for a while. Must give a special mention to THE CAT! She had me in stitches every entrance. Hope the rest of the run goes as well, i'm sure it will

Alan BPTP.

PS, loved your interpretation of the script.

The last entry of the main site for this production is below

Rehearsals are well under way for this years Pantomime, Dick Whittington.
Filled with jokes (for every age) it is set to be a very entertaining evening! For our younger audience some popular songs from a very well known chart topping film.
